Privileges provided to the member of the Board of Directors of the India & Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce Industries & Agriculture (IACCIA)

1. The Indian Arab Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (IACCIA) is a chamber established after the recommendations of the Fifth Arab-Indian Buyers’ Meeting in Muscat-Oman 2016, and the India-Arab Partnership Conference in New Delhi 2023. The approval of the Arab and Indian authorities was taken in accordance with Indian law. It was accredited by The Indian government, the Union of Arab Chambers and the Arab Chambers of Commerce of the 22 Arab countries.

2. The members of the Board of Directors of the India-Arab Chamber consist of 20 businessmen from the Indian side and 20 businessmen from the Arab side. They are considered esteemed among the important businessmen on the Arab and Indian sides. They represent the largest companies, ministers, and influential personalities from Indian and Arab countries.

3. The members of the Board of Directors are provided with high-level identification cards that are authenticated by the India-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Arab Chambers. Members of the Board of Directors will be invited to attend events and trade exhibitions organized by the Union of Arab Chambers, as well as those organized by the Arab Chambers of 22 countries.

4. The photos of the Board of Directors will be placed on the website of the India-Arab Chamber of Commerce. The India-Arab Chamber of Commerce, through its own website, will promote and advertise the companies that are members of the Board of Directors and publishes pictures and advertisements of the company on its website, which is linked to the website of the Union of Arab Chambers and the websites of all 22 Arab Chambers of Commerce.

5. The India-Arab Chamber of Commerce will issue a periodic magazine through which it will promote, publicize, and advertise the members of the Board of Directors companies.
The embers of the Board of Directors of both Arab and Indian counterparts will be invited to the Chamber’s General Assembly meetings, that will be held from time to time, which is an important opportunity for businessmen to meet each other, discuss investment, commercial opportunities and create mutual partnerships.

6. Within the Chamber’s Board of Directors, there will be honorary membership for the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs of the Arab League, the SecretaryGeneral of the Union of Arab Chambers, the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Affairs in India, and a number of Arab ambassadors chosen by the Council of Arab Ambassadors. This is an appropriate opportunity to meet the Dean of the Arab Diplomatic Affairs and a number of Arab ambassadors and Arab figures responsible for the economic, investment and commercial sectors in the Arab countries.

7. The members of the Board of Directors will be invited to meet major political figures (kings, presidents, princes, prime ministers and Arab ministers) who visit India officially or unofficially, as well as to attend events held by Arab embassies in honor of the official Arab delegation.
The members of the Board of Directors will be invited to attend events and exhibitions held by the India-Arab Chamber of Commerce in honor of high-level political and economic delegations when they visit India and in the presence of ambassadors of Arab countries, members of the Arab diplomatic corps, commercial attachés in Arab embassies, as well as high-level Indian political and economic figures.

8. The members of the Board of Directors and their companies will be invited to the IndiaArab economic, trade and investment meetings, which fall within the jurisdiction of the India-Arab Cooperation Forum that takes place regularly, once in India and once in the Arab countries.
The Indian Arab Chamber, in cooperation with the Arab embassies in India, the Union of Arab Chambers, and the Arab Chambers of Commerce, will organize visits, meetings, festivals, trade and economic exhibitions for the 22 Arabian countries. This is an important opportunity to meet businessmen, and important economic, commercial investors to discuss business, trade, and investment partnerships. The members of the Board of Directors will be invited to the national days of Arab countries organized by Arab embassies in India.
